Nikko Bali Resort and Spa, Nusa Dua

Located on top of 40-metre cliffs and overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean, the Nikko Bali Resort and Spa is one of Bali’s most beautiful resorts. Situated in the famous Nusa Dua area of Bali, it is a hotel that is synonymous with luxury.

Nusa Dua Accommodation

The Nikko Bali offers 389 beautifully furnished guest rooms with all the modern conveniences such as air-conditioning. Situated on a cliff with views of the ocean and the gardens, guests can choose from 11 different room variations such as the Presidential Suite, the Seventh Heaven Room and the Family Suite.

The Presidential Suite is located on the 12th floor of the hotel’s Cliff Tower. It is a 2-storey, 2 – bedroom suite that also has a living room, connecting balconies with a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean, a television area, an office area with internet (though it would be a shame to spend one’s time working at the luxurious resort) and other features like flat screen television, DVD player and access to the hotel’s Nikko Lounge.

The Seventh Heaven Room is the Nikko’s most romantic room and perfect for couples, newly-weds and special anniversary holidays. The room features a private balcony with 2 lounge beds (and a fantastic view of the ocean), a glass window bathroom (perfect for those bubble baths for 2), a large LCD television, a DVD player, romantic giveaways and Nikko Lounge access.

The Family Suite comes with 2 interconnecting rooms and can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. As if the water activities are not enough for children, this room also comes with a flat screen television with international channels, a DVD player, movies for children and a Play Station 2. The Family Suite also comes with children’s books, toys and giveaways for children.

Recreation: It’s All Fun and Games

With 4 interconnected swimming pools, a water enthusiast can get quite carried away at the Nikko. The pools are surrounded by palm trees and lush tropical foliage, interspersed with small islands and are a hop, skip and a jump from the white sands and turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The children also have their own pool, a lagoon and a 30-metre waterslide.

Another fun activity for children is the Jungle Camp. Children will have hours of fun on rope bridges, exploring tree houses, jumping on a trampoline and climbing a rock wall at Jungle Camp. The Jungle Camp also has Balinese dance instruction, Balinese phrase lessons, arts and crafts, fish and camel feeding, origami, hula hoop lessons, bubble blowing, golf putting, mask-making, tennis lessons, clay creations classes, drawing, movie time, bowling and more. Children will literally fall into bed at the end of their days from fun-overload.

Fancy a Spa?

The Mandara Spa offers a wide assortment of body treatments and Bali massages in one of their spa villas. Try a Balinese Massage which combines stretching with thumb and palm pressure and improves blood flow and relieves stress and tension. (Most people just get this massage for the enjoyment because there is very little stress from hanging out at a beautiful beach resort.)

A Pevonia Botanica Caviar Facial will drench your skin in Russian Caviar and Escutox to relax, smooth, rejuvenate and combat aging. An antioxidant mask, filled with vitamins A, C, collagen and elastin, is applied to your face and you are left to relax for a while. Once the mask is taken off your face, your skin will look smoother, plumper and younger.

The Nikko Bali Resort Spa also offers fine dining, Jacuzzi, lit tennis courts, camel excursions, beach activities like surfing and snorkeling, nearby shopping, golf and nightclubs and temple excursions.
